Hi! Today I am back with the 4th video for my Christmas art journal series. I will be sharing a new art journal project every Thuesday… until Christmas. That’s 8 Christmas themed layouts! I will play with different mixed media techniques, showcase new products and use old ones from my stash too.

For my project today I worked on my Dylusions Small Journal ( SBC | SSS ) for a two page scene. The little happy elf and the trees are from the Sizzix – Thin Ice ( SBC | SSS ) die set.
I used distress paint to create my background, and added some stencling with sprays, some inking and lots and lots of snow. The white test on the corners is white embossed.
Use a black silhouette for your little friend or go all the way like I did with paper piecing!
And isn’t tha quote just perfect for my little scene?!
Those trees are stunning and I can see me using then in more projects in the near future!
