  1. Lovely layout Vicki, as always. I so admire your talent, what I wouldn’t give to come to Greece and craft with you for an afternoon…who am I kidding, a month!!! I hope you have a fantastic summer!

  2. Love the subtle details in the background! Makes it very interesting, but does not distract. Amazing! Thank you for showing me I don’t need all “the things” to start creating an art journal– it seems very intimidating, but now…..I may just dive in! Your art journals really inspire me to be more creative– thank you!

  3. I quite often get discouraged when I watch art journal videos because my budget doesn’t allow me to purchase all these “fun” products that are used, but today’s video showed me that with a little imagination, I CAN get a page that looks good. Your pages and ideas are always inspiring, but this video really got me thinking and wanting to get going in my art journal again. I know that you need a break after all your creating, but PLEASE don’t forget we art journal page lovers!! Have a fun and fantastic summer!!!

  4. Really cute page; love all the accents and shadows and highlights. So cheerful and colorful. Thank you for sharing.

  5. What a great page! Your background gives me an idea for a canvas project I’ve been struggling to start (because a background idea hasn’t come to mind … until now!!). This project reminds me of several you’ve done in the past — the cups, the stack of books and the leather suitcase — when you would draw your own elements!! It’s such a great creative challenge! Vicky, I just SO appreciate you for sharing and challenging and for just being you! Have a WONDERFUL time by the sea. May it be rejuvenating, relaxing and fun. Thrilling to hear that you are able to do this again this year. Stay healthy!

  6. Beautiful! I love your clouds! They look so dimensional, so real!
Thank you for doing a page with minimal supplies. It is encouraging to those of us that do not have many specialty products.

  7. Vicky what a lovely art journal page. You definitely inspire me. I have your birdhouse dies, and going to make a shadow box for all the seasons. I just love them. Thank you for the inspiration. Have a great summer by the sea.

  8. Vicky – your art journal pages are the best. I’ve been seeing other paper crafters using your wonderful bird house dies in many ways. they are just wonderful. I have them all now! thanks for sharing your talents and enjoy your summer. Stay well!

  9. Gorgeous pages Vicky.
I love that you showed that you don’t always need special supplies.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe, enjoy the beach and have a wonderful day.
