cards with stencils | close-up photos
For this card I used the Floral Garden Stencil( ALTN ). It’s a really fun stencil that combines leaves and flowers in such a way that is easy to ink them up with different colors. It’s one of those 2 step stencils where you need to flip it to move on. Check the video for step by step tutorial on how to layer it. My sentiment is from the Fancy Greetings Stamp Set( ALTN | SSS ) and I did all the inking using distress oxide inks (worn lipstick, carved pumpkin, mowed lawn).
For the next card I used the Heart Builder Stencil ( ALTN ). I combined two distress oxide inks (peacock feathers, cracked pistachio). The sentiment is the THANK YOU SCRIPT Die set ( SSS ).
The next card is really striking in real life! Lot’s of gold and shine going on! I used the Illusion Spiral Stencil( ALTN ) and sprayed over it with Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray ( ALTN | SSS ). To turn my background into a card I added a cutout star and a sentiment.
How gorgeous is this card? I love cards with flowers… so for this one I used the Ombré Stripes Stencil ( ALTN ) and applied Embossing Paste ( ALTN | SSS ) making sure that I don’t cover up the whole panel. The flower is from the Angelique Motifs Stamp Set( ALTN | SSS ) which is just stunning! The sentiment is from a stamp set packed with thank you sentiments in tons of sizes and fonts, the Thank You Builder Stamp Set( ALTN | SSS ).
Here is the card that I made using the Broken Chevrons Stencil( ALTN ). I applied Embossing Paste ( ALTN | SSS ) and again I didn’t cover up with it the whole background. I love that artsy look. The flower was made using only the dies from the Build-A-Flower: Sakura Blossom( ALTN | SSS ). The sentiment is from the Weekend Doodles Stamp Set( ALTN | SSS ).
Finally here is the card I made using the Deco Wonder Stencil( ALTN ) and applied over it the Tonic MOONSTONE Nuvo Glimmer Paste ( SSS ). It’s really sparkly in real life and you don’t really need to do anything else with such a background. The sentiment is the Thinking of You Die( ALTN | SSS )
