video tutorial
I created 5 cards showcasing products from the latest release. You can enjoy the video tutorial below or at my YouTube channel. Scroll down for close-up photos and list of supplies.
close-up photos
antique engravings card
For this card I used the Antique Engravings Cover Die( ALTN | SSS ). I die cut it out of gold cardstock and then I filled in some of the empty space with pink and green cut outs. I didn’t fill in all the gaps, to keep the design more clean and simple.
This is a really unique and gorgeous dies that creates such elegant cards. And the fact that it’s a flower design makes it so versatile since it can be used for every occasion, just change the sentiment.
Remember to use a metal adaptor plate on your die cutting machine since the die has so much detail.
leaf medallion card
This card showcases the Leaf Medallion Stamp Set( ALTN | SSS ). I went with a rainbow look but you can go monochromatic, you can go ombre, you can emboss the leaves … the possibilities are endless. Also change the position of the stamp to get different looks. You can also omit some of the leaf circles too!
The sentiment comes from the same stamp set and I finished off the card with some nuvo drops in matching colors all around the circles.
handpicked bouquet card
Now how gorgeous is this stamp ?! It’s the Handpicked Bouquet Stamp Set( ALTN | SSS ) and it’s one of the most beautiful flower stamp sets for sure. It gives you the option to color it in with your favorite mediums or use the layers that are included.
I went with the layers and used the new Enchanted Garden Oval Set( ALTN | SSS ) so you can see the new inks in action!
engraved flowers card
For this card I was going for a warm and cozy look with colors that reflect fall. The flowers and the sentiment are from the Engraved Flowers Stamp Set ( ALTN | SSS ).
I love how these flower arrangements are long enough to cover the sides of a card and they give the perfect focal point. Use bright colors on your flowers to make them pop even more!
wild ferns card
Here is another card in earthy colors that would work perfectly as a masculine card too ! The leaves are from the new Wild Ferns Stamp Set( ALTN | SSS ) and I also used the Green Valley Oval Set( ALTN | SSS ) inks to see them in action.
The background is made using the Watercolor Stripes Cover Die( ALTN | SSS ) from a previous release.
