Welcome to another art journal layout using lots of fun mixed media techniques, such as sprays, stencils, collage and more!
I am working on a page from my custom made 8×8 disc bound art journal. You can see a video on how I did it here. To create my background I used a couple of shimmer dylusion sprays in Pure Sunshine ( SBC | SSS | JGG ) and Bubblegum Pink ( SBC | SSS | JGG ). The sentiment is the Quote Stamp – Artist ( DRK ) stamp. In the list of supplies at the bottom of this post you will find a few more fun quotes by Darkroom Door in the same style.
To add some texture and dimension I also used Texture Paste ( JGG ) over my Darkroom Door POLKA DOTS Large Stencil ( SSS ). I love that texture paste does not resist color but before everything was completely dry I used a paper towel to wipe off some of the color. So I got this lovely dirty look where you can definitely see the dots but they are not clear white.
For my focal points I combined two stamps, the Darkroom Door ARTIST BRUSHES ( SSS ) and the Darkroom Door PAINT TUBES Eclectic Rubber ( SSS ). I colored and fussy cut everything and then I created a lovely bouquet!
To embellish my bouquet even more I added some leaves that I cut using the Die-namics Fab Foliage ( MFT | SSS ) and a string to keep everything together.
I also used a few of my Dylusions Paint Pens ( SBC | JGG | SSS ) to add color at the bristles of my brushes.

A stunning page Vicky, I love the craft stuff stamps from Darkroom Door. The idea of een bouquet of the brushes and tubes is great. I always admire the way in which you always process multiple textures and do not let it become a mess.

Thank you for this page that really gave me the wish to do one. Do not have your ink sprays so used paints, internet prints for the brushes and stamps for the tubes of paints. I insert a link to view it.
