Today I am designing over at the Limor Webber Designs blog where I am sharing one more page of my mixed media journal.

I started this journal a few months ago and it is flowered themed. This is a great idea because when I sit down to work with it I do not have to think of a layout, I just grab a flower stamp and start creating. I also try to use different mediums and background techniques. If you are a beginner I highly recommend you to start with one of these mini journals!

Here is a sneak peek on my project

I have used iZINK inks as my coloring medium in this project and I love it because you can work with it as if it is a watercolor but it dries permanent.

  1. Dear Vicky,
As always, you have made another beatiful page! I really love watching your videos and have learned a lot from them. I am one of your many subscribers. 🙂
Could you also do a gel medium 101 like you did on with your gesso 101?
And could you also do a workspace video? I would love to see how your workspace looks because your videos always show a clean and organized work space! (I always make a big mess. Perhaps you have a tip on how to keep the workspace clean and organized?)
Thank you again for your wonderful beautiful videos,
    Emma

    1. I plan on making a craft room tour this autumn since everyone is asking for it. I keep my workspace organized since I have many drawers and bins around me where everything has it’s place. Thank you for the suggestions on future videos.. they are all on my todo list … if only I had more hours in one day!!! hugs

  2. Beautiful page. Thank you for recommending this kind of journal for those of us just beginning. I have experienced some real challenges with ‘gluing pages together’ to get enough ‘body’. I look forward to every one of your videos! And love the music that accompanies them.

  3. Hi, I just love to watch your video, but you did not say what brushes or pencils you used.
    Keep up the good work.
We THANK YOU for your time.

  4. Just love all the pages you have done so far Vicky! And it is a GREAt idea to start a small journal and with a theme – like the flowers! 🙂

Wish you a lovely day! And will be looking forward to see more from you!
