  2. I have my kit and wasn’t sure how I’d use the kraft and gold paper, but what you’ve done with it is gorgeous! Thanks so much for the inspiration!

  3. Simple yet elegant. I love the way you dded the candle to the sentiment. Kraft and gold is a winning combo!

  4. This is an absolutely gorgeous card! I love all the gold, and the bright colours really make the sentiments pop!

  5. Love the Kraft and gold papers. Great tip on using colored ink and clear embossing powder. It’s how I started heat embossing until I got hooked.
It comes in handy when you haven’t got a particular color of powder too.

  6. So pretty. I like the colors you worked in with the kraft and gold. SSS’s Lipstick Red is one of my favorites. Thanks for the video.

  7. Oh, Vicky! Your card makes quite a celebration! The heat embossed elements on the front panel scream celebrate. I love your videos and could watch one every day!

  10. Fantastic card! I love the finishing touch that the banners from the kraft and gold paper give the card.

  11. Wow, this is an outstanding card. I love the way you added the gold twine and stars to the banners, then added the gold star brad. Perfect.

  12. Stunning card. I wish the stamp was truly solid though. It looks like you didn’t stamp well with the splotchiness.

  13. Vicky, your card has so much going for it, the shine, composition, and details really make it stand out. I really love the card kit for this month. TFS

  14. I love the shine on your card, Vicky. The craft and gold card stock is so shiny and embossing the sentiments made the design ver compatible. It’s a lovely card!

  15. As usual, I “had fun and got inspired”! TFS this CAS card that could be used for anyone. It’s not too “frilly” to be a masculine card (although if I was making for a man I would probably omit the gold thread). I always look forward to your posts, Vicky!

  16. Beautiful card – I always like what you creat!
This looks like a great kit, so many good ideas on this blog hop.

  17. It worked so well to use the kraft paper for both the background and the flags. Great idea. And I thought the overall design was festive and fun. Thank you.

  18. I love your videos! Just got into stamping and card making from the art world and would love to win to expand my limited supplies. Thanks for all of your inspiration!

  19. I really like how you fit the candle within the stamped sentiment. It really pulls everything together I think.

  20. Lovely! I really appreciated your tips about the SSS inks. I wouldn’t have thought to emboss with them, but glad to know it’s possible if I move quickly!

  21. I like this card! You are a ninja embossing wizard. I can never get it to stick with dye inkls!

  22. Vicki, I not only love all your videos but I enjoy hearing your beautiful accent!
    You are so talented!

Your card is truly a celebration! The gold foiled paper wonderfully offsets the white panel. Thanks for showing us that the SSS inks can be clear embossed – that is news to me!

  35. Fantastic card! Could you give any tips on Heat embossing?? Im not very good at it!! What kind if embossing pad and powders work best?? Thanks for the video! I just love it!!

    1. I use versamark ink pad to stamp and then any fine embossing powder will give you great results. On today’s video I used the SSS ink pads to stamp and emboss but if you are a beginner I wouldn’t recommend it, because they dry fast and you have to move quickly so the powder will stick…

  36. I enjoyed your video and I really love your card. Just perfect. Thanks for the inspiration and also, for a chance to win a great prize.

  37. You’re finally back! I hope you had a good time during Easter! I’m sure I’m not the only one missing your videos 🙂
