Today I am sharing an art journal using the September card kit by SimonSaysStamp. The kit is supposed to be for cardmakers but the supplies can be used to create journal pages as well.
The papers included are just gorgeous and the moment I opened it up I knew what I wanted to do with them. So here is my layout:
The old library drawers and the vintage images, as well as the awesome stickers just made the layout super easy to create. If you love books like I do, I am sure you’ll be able to create something similar in no time.
Today’s layout is very busy and colorful and there are so many things to look at, if you take the journal on your hands. One of my favorite clusters was the notepad pages stacked and embellished.
And don’t you just love that patterned paper with the drawers?

Always wait for your videos. But I have a question. My pages stick together and I noticed yours do not. What am I doing wrong?
I had comments about it from other crafters. I don’t know if it’s the gel medium you use or the paints… are they the same as mine? In any case I’ve heard that it might be because of the climate you live in.
I know that some people use wax all over their pages once they are finished to prevent them from sticking.

Vicki, I am a huge fan… I am a card maker. Am curious as to why you choose art journaling? To me, Each page of your journal would make a wonderful collage to hang on the wall. How do you use/enjoy the many journals you must own? Do you ever sell them?
