Hello card and how-to video

January22

Hello and thank you for visiting today! I hope you are having a great weekend.

Being in Europe it takes ages for my orders to arrive from USA. In case you are wondering I always buy from SimonSaysStamps lately, because they have amazing service and they have the best shipping rates you can get. So when I order I always buy a lot and when they are finally here it’s Christmas again!! On Friday a huge order has arrived, so you can imagine that I am in a crafting heaven. For today’s card I used a new stamp from Hero Arts, new ink and paper from a new pad I ordered.

Here is the card I made:

You can see more detailed pictures, the how to video and a list of supplies HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!

Time for the first inspirational video of 2012 over at lilypad! Grab your coffee and enjoy the making of a clean and simple Valentine’s day card.

Truth is that I missed making videos, blogging and reading your comments the last couple of weeks … but I am gonna miss holidays also…

Here is a look at the card

A couple of videos

Hi ladies! Thanks for visiting again! Are you ready for the holidays?! Have you all mailed your Christmas cards or do you need a last minute idea?

The design is simple but it has a tree edge on the front flap. You can use this technique with just about any stamp you have on hand and make your cards different and interesting. I am sharing the how-to video on LilyPad Cards blog so make sure to check it out. You will also find a full list of supplies there.

I also realized that I haven’t shared here my last week’s how-to video. It was a “hello” card just because I needed a break from Christmas cards. Make sure you check out the how-to video and the list of supplies HERE.

Note:

I get a lot of questions about my videos, when and where I post them. As you all might know me and Deborah Nolan share a blog with cardmaking challenges, lots of sponsors and prizes, interviews, how-to videos and many more fun posts.

So, Lily Pad Cards is where I post my weekly videos. They go live every Sunday and you can see them all if you click “how-to videos” in the menu bar of Lily Pad Cards or if you click HERE. You can also subscribe to our lilypadcards YouTube channel and don’t miss a thing! From time to time as a bonus I post videos here also. So make sure you join my personal YouTube channel as well.

Thank you all for keep visiting, for leaving me sweet comments and for supporting me so much! You are all so sweet! Sending hugs to all of you and I wish you all a creative week!

Just a reminder

This has been a crazy week. I am back to work (high school teacher) after 2 whole months of vacation and there is no way I can keep up with my crafting… i need to get used to it again. Go to work, come back and take care of the family, play with my kids, put them to bed, craft like a mad woman, shoot videos, blogging and commenting and then go to bed at 2am to wake up at 6:30!!!

Makes me wonder how I did this last year… but I know I will get there sooner or later! So, I totally forgot to post here about the how-to video I made last Saturday. In case you haven’t seen it, here is the card and click HERE to watch the video.

Now make sure you go read about the new Link Manager by Inlinkz. Our new tool is available for FREE at least until December, so you can go and check it out! It is the tool I am using to list the supplies used under my projects. Yes, those little thumbnails linking you to an actual place where you can get them!

To celebrate the launching there are top bloggers all around the web talking about it and giving away gift certificates! So make sure to look around and hop over to THIS post for a chance to win $30 to SimonSaysStamps, to get your coupon and to watch a video by Kristina Werner that says it all about the tool!

Thanks for visiting today!

Fashionably wrapped!

How-to video: Thank you

Hi ladies and welcome to another one of my how-to videos! Today I made a card using my new favorite products… Distress Stains. They are so easy to use and they cover large areas in a sec.

This is the card I made

and this is a closer look to that gorgeous 3D flower

To make this card I used one of my favorite wooden stamps from the new Penny Black Christmas Collection called Floral Story.

The above stamp is not yet available but it will be in August as well as the rest of the Christmas stamps!!! So stay tuned!

Now go ahead and enjoy the video at Lily Pad Cards and leave me some comments! I love reading them!

Hugs and Enjoy your Sunday!

How-to video: Use your scraps

July3

If you read my blog I am sure you’ve seen the following card a while back. This was done as a DT member for one of the challenges at Lily Pad Cards. I got tons of comments and email requests on making a video about it.

So here I am today…packing my things for summer house and having to make a video. I decided to make a similar card cause I just can’t think of anything new now. All I have in my mind is the sea and the sun! LOL! Here is the new version of the card and you can see the how-to video here

Well, actually now that you are reading this post I will probably be swimming :)
But no worries, I have scheduled posts and you won’t miss me. I’ll be back home just in time to pack my things for CHA!

I LOVE SUMMER of 2011!!!

Here are a couple of photos from last year just to show you where I’ll be the next two weeks. I have internet connection there so I’ll be checking my emails and share some new photos :)

Chalkidiki-Greece / Summer of 2010

And in case you are wondering NO I am not packing any of my craft supplies. Nothing! Time away from crafts makes you more creative when you are back I think :)

Oh and I have a giveaway going on! If you haven’t participated do so! All you have to do is become a follower of the YouTube channel I am uploading my videos. Read more here.

Hugs and have fun.
