  35. Hey Vicky – I get your newsletter and often watch your videos via those links without stopping here. Sorry about that! Love you videos and inspiring cards, these with new Altenew are no exception! Especially love the inlaid one with the watercolor wash!!

  36. Vicky,
I am a big fan of being able to use inlaid dies. There are always so many color possibilities and it reminds me of putting a puzzle together, which is always fun! Of your examples, I love the card you did with the water colors most of all. It is so beautiful! This release by Altenew is fabulous!

  37. I loved the cards that you made with these new Altenew dies. I can’t pick a favorite. I love all four designs.

  38. Vicky, this is one of my favorite videos ever because each beautiful card is stunning but pretty quick to make. Your video was very helpful. And the Altenew dies are a wonderful size and very lovely.

  39. Absolutely lovely designs! I agree with you about the stamp set; the fonts and sentiments are gorgeous and add so much to the cards. I also really like these new dies. I think the green “hello” card and the watercolor “just because ” one are my favorite!

  43. Beautiful set of cards. I love the flow of the pink and white card, and love that gorgeous pairing of the green and gold with the leafy border die.

  44. As always your cards are beautiful. Thank you for sharing you ideas with us. I especially liked the inlay technique as I have not used that. But my favourite has to be the white over watercolour wash. So simple, but so elegant.

  45. Love the outline die with patterned paper cut half way across the page. So different! Thanks for sharing.

  46. While I love the inlaid look, my favorite is the watercolor background. I liked how you added a bit more depth to the leaves to really get them to stand out more

  47. These are so pretty? Love the spring rose die, especially the foreground you created love it! Love how delicate these cards are!

  48. They are all beautiful! I like the first one used on patterned paper, and the watercolor background on the last one.

  49. My favorite out of your cards this time is the one that uses the partial diecutting on the patterned paper. I love cards like that where you may have the white diecut that is completely cut out, but the paper behind it is only partially cut to match the die. It is a really neat technique and I always like cards that are made that way.
The watercolor card looks really nice also. I am never good at doing that kind of loose style of watercolor myself.

  50. Beautiful cards! I love the first 2 with the patterned paper and the partial die cut. I’m going to try the partial die cutting.

  51. I love your cards! Partial die cutting is a favorite technique of mine, though I definitely need more practice. I love what you did with the glitter, too! I’ve got SO MUCH glitter from quite a while ago, so now I know what I can do with a lot of it! And I really liked your kind-of specific water color wash – that is another technique I will definitely be doing. I have a few birthday cards I’ll need to be doing, and your samples are perfect timing. Thank you for sharing, and stay safe!
