card 1
For my first card I used the Misty Meadows Washi Tape ( ALTN ). this is wide enought to cover up a card front completely and it has foiled details on top. With such a stunning background you can go just with a sentiment for a complete card. The hello was cut out using the Fancy Hello Die( ALTN | SSS | SBC ) and the rest of the sentiment is included in the Delicate Flower Bed Stamp Set ( ALTN | SSS | SBC ).
card 2
For my second card I combined the Gold String Washi Tape ( ALTN ) with the Golden Trim Washi Tape ( ALTN ) to create a decorative element at the base of my card.I then cut out leaves from the Misty Meadows Washi Tape ( ALTN ) and used them as focal points to embellish around my sentiment. The sentiment is from the Weekend Doodles Stamp Set( ALTN | SSS | SBC ).
card 3
For this card I used the Teal Shadow Washi Tape( ALTN ). Isn’t the color just stunning?! I looked through my stash to find a cardstock that matched that teal color and I think I found the perfect match. I die cut the letter A using the Mega Alphabet A Die( ALTN | SSS | SBC ). It’s the perfect way to personalize a card with your recipients initials. To embellish my card even more I also fussy cut some of the flowers from the washi tape to pop them on top.
card 4
For the last card for today I used the Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape ( ALTN ). This is a really wide washi tape with gorgeous floral designs in back and white. You can use it as it is or add some color on it like I did. I tried my alcohol markers and I was really suprised to find out that they actually worked and dried too. At the beginning it seems as the alcohol beads up on top of the washi tape but the end result is really cool. The colors dry paler that they actually are and they give that sepia look you can see in the photo below.

Oh, I always love watching you create in your process videos, Vicky! These cards are all so beautiful, and relatively simple, too–my card of card! I have already ordered a couple of rolls of this washi and see now that I will be going back for the others! And can’t wait to see what you do with that creamy embossing paste! So pretty, Vicky! I love that we can get beautiful flowers instantly with the Washis.
Vicky your cards are magnificent, and I expect no less from you & Altenew! I really like the palm tree or fronds on the first washi tape. At least that is what it looks like to me. The gold accents are so sweet and really add to the tape. But the teal washi tape is my favorite and I love how you fussy cut the flowers out to accent the mega letter! Beautiful work on the cards!
I love these tapes! I finally got my two favorites from the first release! They make creating gorgeous cards so easy!
I’m so glad you make videos showcasing your beautiful cards and great ideas. You are always terrific!

All so beautiful! My wish list just got longer with the addition of these beautiful Washi tapes.
So very pretty!
Loved your video, Vicky! These cards are simply beautiful and the new washi tapes are so pretty.
This new washi tape is fantastic! Not only is it beautiful, but it allows you to use the designs more than one time and in more than one way. Plus it is self-adhesive making it “ready to go.” I am so glad you used the markers. I wondered if the texture of the tape would allow for any type of coloring and it seemed to work really well. All of your cards are fantastic, by the way, and I was sad to see the video end. (I was ready to see more cards!) 🙂
Such beautiful cards! The washi tapes are wonderful.
Thanks for sharing…
I love card #2 and #4. Fantastic techniques with the card. Thank you for the inspirations.
Your cards are amazing! Who knew washi tape could be used to make such beautiful cards? Thanks for the great video! You made making these cards look so simple that I can hardly wait to try making my own washi tape cards. By the way, I love the fact that you can color the washi tape.

Vicky, I love how the Gold Strings Washi Tape looks like the floral stems on your last card. It is amazing what can be done with these gorgeous new washi tapes. It is an added plus that you can color them with several different mediums.
