Welcome to a fun blog hop! Have you seen the “You are Loved” release by SSS?!  Awesome products, perfect for the upcoming Valentine’s Day. Today we celebrate with an inspirational blog hop and lots of giveaways and a free gift

To showcase products from this release I am sharing 3 cards with hearts! All of them feature hearts in various ways and the same color combination with a couple of distress oxide inks. They are perfect for Valentine’s day and any occasion really, depending on the sentiment you choose to go along with them.

close-up photos

1. the window hearts card

For my first card I used the Windows to my heart die.  I just had to create a window card with that, with individual little pockets so you can see the confetti inside each and every heart. The background was created by combining two distress oxide inks picked raspberry and spiced marmalade. I used the same color combination on all my cards.

The sentiment is from the Love Messages stamp set.

2. the stenciled hearts card

For the next card I combined two of the stencils from the Heart Layers stencil set. There are so many ways you can combine those 3 stencils included to create lovely backgrounds. I also used a left over heart from the cutting I did for my first card. I used it to stamp my sentiment and popped it on top. Again the sentiment is from the Love Messages stamp set.

3. the ornate heart card

For my last card I used dies from the Ornate Love die set. This actually coordinates with a stamp set but I went with a super easy design for this one and kept everything simple.

Instead of using the O for the word LOVE, I used on of the hearts from the set. Again I did all the coloring with my distress oxide inks.
