Time for my monthly feature where I create 10 cards using one card kit! This is the January card kit by SSS and it’s still available. The kit is packed with products and I just love the stamp set included, the die and the papers. And those pom poms make such a fun embellishment!

What a wonderfully adorable collection of cards! My favorite has to be Card #1 – The Twirling Skater – as I have always loved to ice skate and I love interactive cards! You are so creative with card kits, Vicky, and I was particularly inspired by Card #7 – The Snowman Card. What a great idea to cut out a stamped element at the edge! And those pom poms….too cute!

The boy and girl penguin is my favorite — with the snowman thank you card running a close second!! Some really great ideas in this video. I like the way you cut 3 squares and put the penguins inside as well as the sentiment. That’s a great and fun looking idea. Would you mind at some point showing how to use that dry ink pad?? Vicky, you are so creative! I love how you cut the edge off and added a strip of red and then cut off the edge of the snowman! And your use of the Pom poms!!!! I never knew what to do with those before! What a great card kit!!!???

It was so refreshing to watch this video, Vicky. It is summer here in Australia and really HOT! Looking at all the snowy elements in this January Card Kit — the penguins, ice skater, snowflakes and snowglobes made me feel cool even though the air conditioner in my craft room corked it! My favorite card would have to be the spinner card…I have never made one before but now I feel confident enough to do so! Thank you for all your inspiration.

I would say that either Card 1 or Card 7 are my favorite! They use techniques that I wouldn’t ordinarily think of! I love it!

As usual, it is tough to pick a favorite. The peeking penguins was a fun card and the spinning skater was beautiful. But my favorite thing about your video was watching you take simple (and easy) cards to the next level with just a few embellishments. Hello Vicky, Thank you for your inspiration. My biggest challenge is using small print bkgrd papers, I liked your use of the vellum over the busy mitten pattern. I also like how you glued the scrap to make use of the red strip for the asymetrical accent on the snowman card.
You have so many wonderful cards and ideas. My favourite is number 7.

I have two favourite cards, number 5 the peek-a-boo card and number 7 the snowman.
some of these are very simple which is noteworthy because it’s mostly difficult to think of simple designs. I particularly loved the 9th one with dangling pom-poms.

I also liked how you cut the white cardstock off the right side of the snowman card and attached it to the right. This simple cutting was ingenious! It drew attention to the snowman so perfectly.
