Welcome to a fun blog hop! New Altenew products have just been released including new markers! We celebrate with an inspirational blog hop and lots of giveaways.

I am a big fun of the Altenew alcohol markers. And having more colors to add to my collection is just awesome. Today I showcase one of the new alcohol markers sets. If you never tried their markers I highly recommend you do so, they are top quality. They come with two nibs, a brush and a fine tip. They are nice and juicy and they blend beautifully. Plus they have reinkers and they are cheaper than copics. What more can you ask?!
You need more?! They match perfectly with their ink colors!
For today I created a card using the Inked Rose Stamp Set( ALTN | SSS | SBC ). To showcase the new sets I used the oranges and the greens from the Artist Markers Set E ( ALTN ).
I like to go quickly with my coloring and not spending too much time on it. By using markers that you know they blend nicely you will end up with great results no matter how much time you spend on it or how advanced you are in coloring. But if you do spend time coloring and you practice the results are going to be really stunning!

Vicki, this is such a beautiful card. Thanks for sharing it and your video tutorial. I learned so much from watching you create this card. Like the idea of using the colorless blender to create highlights and placing your white card top so that only two sides of your green color show. Great ideas that I’ll be using in the future.

Looks great, even if you were going fast.
Beautiful card. I only got to watch half of the video because it froze my computer and I had to restart it. I love the colors you chose for the flower. Thanks for the inspiration.
I’ve been looking into alcohol markers recently, so I appreciate knowing that for someone like me who will never be a professional colorist, these will still work to get the beautiful blends I’ve been seeing. And I really like how designers have been using the florals with lots of shadow lines in them for this hop; it gives a lot of oomph to a piece, even with quick coloring. Thanks for sharing with us!
