my card
For today I wanted to create a summery looking and really fresh card. So I used the Main Squeeze Stamp Set ( ALTN | SBC | SSS ). This is a very versatile stamp set, you can customize the designs to look like lemons, oranges, limes, grapefruits … so many different options!
I went with a monochromatic, yellow card but think of all the possibilities of mixing more colors and stamping wonderful fresh backgrounds! In this card I wanted a clean white background but with some interest… so I went with the Pegboard Canvas Cover Die( ALTN | SBC | SSS ). It’s not just for cross stitching! You can use it for really subtle backgrounds but with a touch of something! And I love how that yellow cardbase picks through those little holes.
The set is a layering stamp set but you can use it any way you like! Be creative! Here I used just one of the layers and it looks awesome too. The lemons are embossed with clear embossing powder and are very shiny and textured in real life. On top I added some dots with Crystal Drops Gloss – Morning Dew( SBC | SSS ).

Darling card. The stamp set really intrigues me. It is the only “fruit” stamp set I have seen that accurate represents what fruit – in this case a lemon, or lime, or orange slice – really looks like. I guess it means that if you want it done right, leave it to Altenew!

I didn’t realize it was the same stamp, being able to use it as a orange or a lemon! Pretty in both colors. I think I will make a card using a couple of yellow color combos. I like the drops too!
