Welcome to a blog hop with a cause! This is the Celebrating Parents Card Drive blog hop, hosted by Altenew. Our goal is to send cards for the elderly that live in nursing homes or shelters to let them know they’re not forgotten. Please check out the Celebrating Parents Card Drive info here and join this great cause by sending in cards.
You should have arrived here from Svitlana Shayevich. If you want to start the hop from the beginning you can go to Altenew
Here is my card using the Best Dad Stamp Set ( ALTN | SBC | SSS ). The set is packed with masculine images along with lovely sentiments to use.
To create my background I used my distress oxide inks. A go to technique with gorgeous results every time! Then I stamped and cut out my images to embellish my card. To spell the word DAD I used the Caps Bold Alphabet Die Set( ALTN | SBC | SSS ).

Love this card! So great to see ideas for cards for males. There’s four males in my family, Dad and my three brothers, I’m always struggling to make cards for them due to never knowing what to do on their cards. Thanks for the inspiration.

Awesome DAD card, I love that it has tools & a game controller!
Fantastic DAD card! I struggle with concepts for masculine cards. Thanks so much for sharing your video! 🙂
Great card for Dad! But i always love your cards.
Masculine cards are so hard, but i like this one! I usually go the safe route with a either a geometric background or a technique background like alcohol ink and a simple sentiment. Not many stamp sets have good images for Father’s day cards. This might be the only one I’ve seen!
What a cool card Vicky. Love the distress background with the bold alphas. The tools are the perfect images for a masculine card.
How fun. I love the background on the card.
Wonderful card for dad!
Such fun cards.
Lovely card Vicky! TFS

What a lovely masculine card.. love it.
Love the distress ink background. You always do an amazing job of blending your colors!
The mom/dad Altenew stamps are awesome… I only wish their customer service was better – I placed an order back in February and am still waiting for the replacement items (stamps and a dry ink) that were never shipped to me. I have even received another of my orders in the meantime. 🙁
Perfect card for Dad! Love the dimension!!
Wonderful card!
Masculine cards are not that easy to make but with your help and inspiration I think I can make a better this year! I love your artwork!
Your card was so my dad before he passed away March 20th 2017. He loved to play WII bowling and we used to play a lot. He never had a beard or mustache so he shaved and he had a work shop in our basement complete with hammers, nails, screwdrivers and tons of other tools. I wish I had these stamps when he was alive so I could use them for him. Thanks for showing us your creative card and for giving us the chance to win.
