dimensional flower card

Happy Monday! Today I have a lovely card, perfect for any occasion. I used dies from Sizzix to create this gorgeous dimensional flower that is the focal point on my card.

I used the Sizzix Bigz Die – Rustic Bouquet( SZX | CST ). I cut out many petals using the same die, so that I can stuck them one on top of the other to get that full look.

To color my flower I used my distress oxide inks. In the video I share the exact ink pads I used to get that realistic look. Gorgeous isn’t it? Look at all the dimension of my flower. To achieve that I used the Sizzix Paper Sculpting Kit( SZX | HCUK ). Watch the video below to see how easy it is to use and how much difference it makes.

If you notice I haven’t stamped any sentiment on the outside. I combined a die cut word with a stamped sentiment to complete my birthday card. Just change the sentiment and you have a card perfect for any occasion. It would make a great Mother’s day card too!

You can enjoy the video below or at my YouTube channel

Supplies:

The dies I used in this card are Sizzix.co.uk designs not available in the US and Canada. But I suggest similar Sizzix.com dies below that can give you the same look. Links to both US and UK online shops below. Affiliate links used at no extra cost to you.
