One of my favorite days of the month is when Altenew releases a new stamp for their Create A Flower collection.
And here is the Build-A-Flower: Carnation( ALTN ), for December.
I love their build a flower collection. It’s easy to use layers one on top of the other to build depth and you get gorgeous results every time. You always end up with pretty flowers without spending time coloring. Plus everyone loves flower cards and they are great for every occasion.
For my flower today I used pink shades of ink from the Rose Petal Oval Set( ALTN ). But I know it would look gorgeous in any color combo. The stamp set includes lovely sentiments too.
The carnation consists of 4 layers and Altenew has done all the hard work for you. Here is a close-up look on the carnation with all it’s depth and the lovely leaves. And remember that the leaves from a stamp set are very versatile. You can use them in any flower card, mix and match greenery for a fuller look or use them to build a wreath.
In the video I also put the new Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine( ALTN | SSS ) into use. You can enjoy the video below or at my YouTube channel
