This week I have a fun event. I will be featuring Stampendous products and sharing a video every day from Monday to Friday. Today I am sharing how you can use enamel or embossing powders all over your backgrounds for amazing results.
For my adorable holiday card I used the Stampendous POLAR BEARS Stamp and Die Set ( SSS ). You can easily turn this design into a winter card, just don’t use the red and green color combo for their scarves and add another sentiment.
What makes this card amazing is the background. It’s not only sparkling due to the glitter but it’s also super shiny. I used the Stampendous – Embossing Enamels – Aged Marine ( SBC | AMZUK ). I completely covered up the background with it!
Here is a close up look on my night sky where you can see all the different shades of blue that are mixed in this powder as well as the gold of course.
The stamp set comes with dies included. I love popping my images on my cards so having the dies is a bonus and a great time saver.
For my snowback I used the same technique and covered completely my snowbank with Stampendous – Chunky Embossing Enamels – White ( SBC | SSS | AMZUK ). This gave my snow some texture and shine.

This card was so peaceful! I like peaceful – sweet winter cards. I LOVE the new embossing powders! Its certainly going to be easier to make stary night & space backgrounds now! I was wondering if you were going to do a 10 cards 1 kit with the SSS December card kit? You make such cute cards with Doodlebug kits! Wow! That embossing powder really packs a punch. I’m so glad to see that you left the bears mostly white. Too many people color them with too much grey. This card is fabulous!
