Welcome to the second part of this month’s Create8, featuring stamps and dies from the October release by My Favorite Things.

Card 1

Here is a card that depending on the sentiment you can easily use it even for Valentine’s Day. I went with a more neutral sentiment so I can easily hand it out to everyone. Love the plastic grid and all the elements you can add inside. Combine them with the X’s and O’s ( MFT | SSS ) set for a really unique card. I went with the hearts and O’s but there are X’s too and all available in black and white.

Card 2

For my second card I used the lovely Merry Christmas Greeting ( MFT | SSS ). A lovely handwritten font, big and bold. Can be the focal point on your card. All I did was to simply embellish it with the cute birdies and some mistletoe from the Dashing Deer stamp set( MFT | SSS )

Card 3

Look at this puppy!! So adorable! I used the “Happy Pawlidays” ( MFT | SSS ) set in Part 1 but I just had to go back to it and use another puppy design. My little friend is dressed up in traditional Christmas colors.  A sparkling snowflake from the “Let it snowflake too” ( SSS ) and the “Happy Holidays Circle Frame” ( MFT | SSS ) make the perfect cluster to nest the puppy next to it.

Card 4

And here is our favorite girl, holding the “Nice List” ( MFT | SSS ) from the Pure Innocent collection. For a luxurious look I combined her with the Tonic POLISHED GOLD Mirror Cardstock ( SSS | SBC ). Just add a few golden snowflakes into the mix and you have a lovely Christmas card.

  1. Beautiful Holiday cards. Thank you so much for sharing how you created them. I just love watching your videos. I think they are all beautiful, but my favorite would have to be the Happy Pawlidays card, it is adorable. Thanks for inspiring me today!

  2. Wonderful cards! My favorite is the Merry Christmas with the little birdies. I just love those little birdies with their sweet little hats. I like your new format with four cards in one video and four in another. I like seeing more of your process. Thanks for sharing your creativity!

  3. All four of today’s cards are too adorable to pick a favorite! The birdies are too cute with their little hats and I love the font that says Merry Christmas; but then there is that puppy…he melts my heart. I always love our precious little girl in whatever card you put her in! And, the tick-tac-toe card is so unique with a great choice of color! Your new format is great, Vicky! It allows us time to actually see more technique, coloring, and construction. Have a great weekend and feel better soon!

  4. REALLY love all four cards — you really hit it out of the park on this video. If forced I guess I’d say I like the gold snowflakes on gold with the little girl but I also love the simple message with tiny birds and greens and and. Definitely enjoy having two videos over one. You’re going into more depth without the hurrying, it give us more to look forward to (I’m always so disappointed when the one day version ends). Thank you for all your inspirations
