Today I am sharing ideas on how you can use the products included in the “New Day” Card Kit ( ALTN | SSS | ELH ). If you want to see what’s included I have already posted an unboxing video last week. You can find it in this post.

I made 3 cards by putting the gorgeous paper pad into good use. I want to inspire you, to use more patterned paper in your cards. So I decided to make cards with the paper instead of stamping. Gorgeous, easy and quick!
The paper with the watercolor map is my favorite! All I did was adding a few of the die cuts included and thread a string. Plus it is easy to personalize as you can add that geo-tag anywhere in the world in makes sense to you and the recipient.
My second card is even quicker than the first. I paired the gorgeous patterned paper with the red carstock and added my sentiment using the alpha stickers included. A great reminder, that we don’t need to overthink the design every time. Go simple and let the patterned paper do the job for you!
And my last card for today looks stunning in my eyes! That gold and elegant frame on top of that gorgeous paper! And how I love that color combo! I actually framed one of the included die cuts and used my black marker to tick one of the check boxes. Go ahead and tick them all if you wish!

I already have this kit, it is absolutely beautiful. Everything is quality and useful too. The cardstock and papers are gorgeous, so gorgeous I didn’t want to use them, but I forced myself to use one of the sheets to make a card for a close friend. Most treasured item is the die set, the frame is just adorable! Actually, the whole kit is!!!

I saw your video on YouTube and I’m in love with this cardstock pad from Alt& New, absolutely gorgeous! And I liked how you used this beautiful paper to work, they don’t need much embellishment at all, that’s what make it so practical and quick to create. I’m planning on making a mini album out of it.

Thank you for the encouragement to use patterned papers in place of stamping. My cards are usually quite involved, so I run out of time to get them done and now I have a growing pile of partially finished cards on my desk. The cards you show here are beautiful and I am now inspired to dig into my collection of patterned papers to try to create something similar. Thank you!

I love your ideas!! I sometimes get so nervous when a begin a new project – once I’ve started I relax more but my anxiety comes from just starting!! Any helpful ideas?
I am the same way but I’m getting better. I remind myself no one is watching me and if it really looks bad even after I leave and come back I just throw it away and start over. I just keep telling myself its just paper and some ink… I’ll never miss it. Most the time it works. I hope this helps you dear!
