Hi everyone! Today I am back with a travel card using a lovely Sizzix die!
A vintage looking card perfect for those who love traveling, those who plan to travel or even those who wish they did!
Burlap is a great touch to any card. Love the texture it adds and the look and feel of it!
I cut out my pieces using the “open road” Sizzix die and then colored everything with distress inks. You can of course use colored cardstock, to cut out everything.
What is great about the design of this card is that I think it would make a great retirement card and it is perfect for male and female.

Love this for a retirement card. I also like the burlap. I put burlap on a Christmas tree card I was working on last month. Then I my creativity “flew the coop”. It’s still sitting on my work station. I keep looking at it hoping to get some ideas on how to finish. Maybe when I watch your video, something will come to me.

This is an AMAZING card!! I wish I had all the stuff to make one for my niece. She is going on a mission trip to Honduras this summer. This would be so awesome to give her. This is an awesome card Vicky, love the silver rim around the headlights. Oh my goodness that was a great idea. I know it may sound silly that THAT would be what sticks out to me but it is “in the details”, IMHO and these are the things I feel a non card maker would notice as well! A great card!
