When it comes to mother’s day cards I can’t stay away from flowers! Today I created a lovely card using Altenew stamps, dies and markers.
Such a pretty stamp, I just love that brunch with the flowers. I used the Altenew alcohol markers to color my images and I loved them. They have really soft and juicy brush nib and another fine tip one. Plus you can’t go wrong with selecting the colors to blend for your shading, since they have done it for you!
I just had to add some sparkle at the background to make my card look special. This is a deco sheet by Tim Holtz, which is amazing in real life! It gives all that shine of glitter but it isn’t glitter that comes off and stick everywhere! Plus it is self adhesive, perfect! To finish it off I added a few clear drops of Nuvo at the center of the flowers.
This mother’s day card design is so versatile since it features flowers. Just change the sentiment and you can have a card for any occasion.
