Today I am happy to be part of the Altenew blog hop, celebrating the March release! For my card I used the beautiful Garden Treasure stamp set and dies! How can I resist this gorgeous stamp set now that spring is here?
The stamp set gives you different layers so that you can stamp the flowers and the leaves with different shades of inks to do your shading. However they do give you the outline image as well! So you can choose how to work with them. I just stamped the outline and had fun with my watercolor pens.
A flower card is perfect for every occasion so just use any sentiment you like! To finish it off I just had to add some glitter at the background as well as stick a few of those art pebbles that look like morning dew drops.

Love this stamp set Vicky, and your coloring is beautiful. Nobody does layering stamps better than Altenew, and I love how they give you the option to just use the outline stamp too. My husband is a mechanical engineer, so no prizes for guessing what’s at the top of my list for this new release!

Beautiful as always!! Do you like the tonic watercolor pens better than the zig??
The tonic ones have more flow, which I love, but they come only in 12 colors for now, since they just released. Which is good in one way since you don’t get overwhelmed by not knowing which red to use! On the other hand you don’t have as many options as with ZIG.
They both have beautiful results and they are easy to use and blend. Similar products really! The only difference I see is the flow.
