Vicky, I love the plaid paper, fall is my favorite season and these cards are beautiful. You made a comment about building your stash. Do you recommend a specific craft kit for beginners that don’t have a lot of supplies? I’m more iterrested in mixed media. I would love to use this card kit and integrate it into an art journal. Can you demo how to do that?

Very creative as always. I bought the October Kit early knowing that you would provide great inspiration for how to use it. I love the multi dimensional You with the pattern paper below it. I will definitely be making a similar card with that technique very soon.

I am nutty for all 10 of your cards. You do an amazing job creating and videoing. Thank you so much for ALL the wonderful inspiration!!
You always make this 10 card thing look so easy! 🙂 Thanks so much for doing this series. I have begun to challenge myself to look at new paper pads in this same way, to immediately make at least a half dozen cards (considering a 6×6 pad is around $6 US) thereby getting a cards for $1 each at least. (I like Julie Fei Fan Balzer’s idea of crafting frugality that for each of her craft purchases she has to get least as many uses out of it as the dollars it costs – so if it costs $5, she wants to have at least 5 immediate uses for that item. It keeps me honest about whether or not I really need a particular item or if I just WANT it. (I do occasionally still purchases an item or two – especially STAMPS!! because I just WANT them, but I’m trying hard to avoid that.)
