valentine's day card

Welcome to the second day of my fun week featuring Penny Black.

Here is the card for today with the beautiful stamped roses!

valentine's day card

To color the card I used my distress markers and blend everything with my wink of stella glitter pen. The roses, leaves and butterfly are all shiny but I just couldn’t catch all that glitter with my camera!

In the video I will walk you through the easy steps on how you can make your rose look so dimensional. No need to have any guru shading skills there!

also notice that I wasn’t super careful in staying inside the lines, that adds more to the distressed water colored look I was going for. But you can be as neat as you like!
