Happy February! Time to share another page on my mixed media art journal.
Today’s page brings spring closer. Those flowers could be from an almond tree that is the first tree that blooms as the spring approaches here in Greece.
I have used fluid acrylic paints by Stamperia for my background and many more goodies such as the metal label and the wooden cage.
I have fussy cut the flowers out of a scrapbooking page and I have drawn that whimsical brush.
Such a happy page! Really happy with the outcome.

I love the blue background and the whimsical branch. It’s always fun to sew your process and how you think through the project as you create. I like how you make a layered, complex background have such a clean and simple look in the end.

I love your art Journal Pages Vicky, they are so inspiring! I especially like that so many of your page elements are handmade, not just store-bought or always needing a machine. I like to do that as welll, feeling than I made it, not just put the pieces together. Although, of course, there are times when doing something quick and easier is just the thing!
