Welcome to YoungCraftersUnite Blog Hop!

If you are blog hopping then you landed here from the talented Faith Abigail.  But if you are lost or want to start from the beginning please visit the main site here.

Now, if you are wondering why I am participating to a “YOUNG” crafters blog hop then I must tell you that crafting makes me feel like a kid. Can you think of anything more refreshing than gluing your fingers with adhesive, having ink all over your table, glitter in your face and tons of markers in your drawers?! and have I mentioned ribbon?… and the buttons? Crafting has been, is and will always be my way to relax and feel creative!

Blog hop’s theme is “favorite things”.  If you visit my blog, seen my cards and watched my videos you know by now that I love my scissors, embossing and my distress inks. So how could I not use all of them to create a card for the blog hop.

How-to card videos is another favorite of mine so sit back and enjoy the making of the above card.

Supplies:

I thought I also share one of my favorite projects, I made a while back.  Make sure to click here to see a how-to video on this card as well!

  14. Another fabulous card and video, Vicky! You have such amazing talent with distress inks. I find that half the I use them, they don’t turn out for me, or rather, I don’t use them properly! But people like you and Jill Foster and Britta make me want to keep at it. Great job!

  15. I love this card and video. Thanks so much for sharing the video so we can see your technique, I never considered using a sponge dabber with the distress ink, it would give much better control for small areas. I’m still learning with distress inks so I really like seeing people use them so I can discover new ideas. For instance I love the glow behind your lanterns! That is just brilliant! 🙂 This card makes me really want the lunar lights set from lawn fawn as well, it is one I do not have….yet! 🙂 I’m going to start following your blog and the lily pad you tube channel for future inspiration.
