As if nothing happens on my blog (Digital Wednesday & Weekend video) I decided to have another weekly happening! Hooray for that!!! So I am starting a challenge called “Around the world”. And what is more exciting?! I’ll introduce a new Inlinkz tool: Voting! This is a BETA testing of the tool which will be available just after the challenge to anyone. Here is what to do:
Each Thursday I’ll post a photo from some place around the world.
You make a card/scrapbook page/paper craft inspired by the photo. No restrictions! Just get inspired by the colors on the photo, or by the shapes you see, or even by the general feeling or the culture of that place! It’s up to you.
Post your project on your blog/gallery and then submit it here
The submissions will last for 5 days (there is a countdown just next to the submit button so no matter your timezone you know how much time you have left).
When submissions are over all the projects will be available for voting. A little star will be shown just above each submission.
All you’ll have to do is click on the star of your favorite project . (Inlinkz voting totally rocks). Now readers pick the winner not the blog owner! Isn’t that cool?!
You can vote just one card (not your own) but you can tell all your blog-friends to vote as well
The voting will last for 2 days. You will be notified by email when the voting is starting!
The top 3 winners will be featured on my blog and the 1st winner wins a $25 gift certificate from twopeasinabucket!
If you have any questions just drop me a comment on this post and I’ll answer ASAP.
Here is this week’s “Around the World Challenge”. Feel free to copy this image and post it on your blog so anyone can join.
Last weekend we went to a kids party and I had to make two super quick birthday cards. I remembered to take photos of them before we left. So I though I should share them. They are very easy to make and I think they look very nice although they are so simple.
Here is the first one using my new adorable stamp set and an old BasicGrey collection called Marrakech. (scroll down for list of supplies at the bottom of the post).
and a closer look … the elephant’s ear pops up.
And for the second birthday card I used another new stamp set. Since I got my corner chomper I use it all the time. It makes cards look “finished” … BUT I made a mistake on this card… as soon as I used it I regretted … but well… here it is.
and a closer look

Welcome to this weekend’s video everybody.
When I was making this card I was singing the song from the movie “Mary Poppins”… couldn’t use it as a soundtrack on my video thought since it’s copyrighted
Let’s go fly a kite
Up to the highest height!
Let’s go fly a kite and send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let’s go fly a kite!
and a closer look

Another card posted today (I’ve been very creative yesterday). This has come out greatly. I actually love this purple touch of ribbon and the little canvas tag! And isn’t this paper collection adorable?! Scroll down for the list of supplies used.

Here is a card I made using one of my new stamp sets. I am in love with this big flower and I just couldn’t resist paper piecing it! The rest of the card is very simple, just a ribbon and a piece of distressed paper. Oh! and the card is clear embossed with polka dots. Scroll down for the list of supplies used.

It’s Wednesday already and today I am sharing a Disney character after a reader’s request.
So here is Mickey Mouse for our little friends.
Separate and cut the parts using different colored papers (red, yellow, black and pale pink). I did that and then gave it to my daughter to paper piece it. Or cut all the parts in just one white sheet, color them and glue them. Such fun

NOTE: some of you may have downloaded an earlier version of this file where the GSD format was missing. You can download it again, everything is included now
I finally did some “spring cleaning” on my blog… now it’s wider! No more two sidebars…Yeah! Bigger photos and videos!!
This week I made another happy spring card. I can’t stop using this stamp set. So cute! I’ve used one of my new paper pads on this one as well as some really cool stamp letters! And have you seen these fabric bloomers?!
OK in case it’s not clear the sentiment is supposed to be … {Bee} Happy.

Wow! I am posting just to let you know of a great stamp deal. My basket is full of stamps and what’s exciting? Even the HeroArts stamps(you know they are my favorites) from the latest collection are on sale! Go grab them!
Here are my favorites that you can get if you don’t already have:
I would love to thank YOU, all my blog readers for the blog love, the feedback and all the support. Reading your comments make me want to share more cards, videos, templates and other craft projects.
Can you find a better way to celebrate than celebrating with you?!
So here it is! A blog hop!!! Let’s make a list of our blogs and our readers’ blogs!
Here is how it works:
1. Click the blue frog below to add your blog.
2. Copy the following script and put it on your blog post while in HTML view.
This will make the thumbnail collection appear on your post as well and be available for your readers too.
3. Provide the above code on your blog for others to grab. Just mention to paste it on HTML view when blogging.
4. Ask your readers to add their blogs on the list and also copy and paste the script on their blog as well!
This will make a thumbnail collection that will grow on everyones blog and we can meet each other! I’ll be moderating it so no worries. It will be updated on everyones blog when someone enters a new link.
LOVE IT! Please DO participate! You don’t have to link them back here. Just tell everyone to add their cardmaking/scrapbooking blog and make the collection as big as we can! Can we make it to 1000? If you have any issues let me know and I’ll be happy to help asap.
Wednesday is here and today I am sharing a set of bugs!
How-to: Cut the template with your digital cutter and then paper piece each bug. You can select parts and cut them on colored paper or just use white paper and color it later with your markers or inks! Use 3d foam adhesive to bring them to life by adding some dimension on their eyes, wings etc.
Are they cute or what?! Click on the image below to download the template in different formats. If you use them don’t forget to comment here with a link! I’d love to see your creations!

Thank you for leaving a comment when you download a file!
Tip: You don’t own a digital cutter? No worries open the PNG using MW Word, resize as desired, print and cut with your good old scissors.
