Weekend Video – Happy Birthday

February22

This weekend card is actually a remake of the card I made early this week.
If you read my previous post I made that card for the Embellish magazine challenge but then realized it should have been a birthday card. So here we go again … another version for the same challenge.

You can scroll down to watch the video and then read the list of supplies. I upload a new video every weekend so If you enjoy them don’t forget to subscribe on my YouTube channel or subscribe on my blog :)

Supplies:

Hero Arts Cling Dots
BasicGrey 6×6 paper pad – Lemonade
K&Co Chipboard Alphabet Box – Remake Collection Earth Browns

Hello

February17

Here is a card I did for the Embellish magazine challenge. The funny part? I used the colors I was supposed to (pink, brown, green and blue) and when I went to submit it I realized it had another rule. It should be a birthday card! LOL!

So here it is… just a card for a challenge that was never submitted.

The letters are chipboard letters covered with patterned paper. Scroll down for list of supplies.

And a close up

What did my DH said when he saw this card? “So you made a card about HELL and you put a flower next to it?” LOL!!!! I love his comments! Always makes me laugh!

Let’s catch up

February16

I love polka dots. So when I saw the challenge on Lucy’s blog I knew I had to make a card.
The polka dots are embossed. I used my copics to color the whale and a gem for the eye. The sentiment is embossed on vellum.

What I love on this card?
The fish hook!!! I made it with my jewelry wire and it’s tied with some fishing line. Here is a closeup

Weekend video – Flower Pot

February14

When I saw those distressed flowers on the Hero Arts video by Lisa here I had to make them. So here is this weekend’s card!

and a closer look…

You can watch the video and then scroll down to read the list of supplies. If you don’t want to loose any of my videos you can subscribe on my YouTube channel here.

Supplies:
Essential Messages by Hero Arts
BasicGrey 6x6x pad Ambrosia
BasicGrey buttons Ambrosia
Making Memories edge distresser (couldn’t find this anywhere but here is another tool that does the same thing)
Tim Holtz non-stick Scissors
Jewelry wire 18 gauge
Wire Cutter and Round nose pliers
Embossing Buddy

Tip: Embossing Buddy is that pillow I am using before I stamp with the Versamark ink. If you want really neat embossing you should use it! Perfect embossing every time! You can’t find an embossing buddy?
Here are some alternatives:
- Use a dryer sheet
- Dip a soft rag in a bit of corn starch

Carnival season!

February14

Just a fun post this morning…. It’s the carnival season in Greece.

Last night we went to a carnival party with my DH Aris and friends. I thought it would be fun to share these photos with you and not just cards for a chance :)

So here we are!

I was dressed as a Can-Can dancer and Aris was a Youtube video “Drunk guy at party” LOL!!!!

Hope you’ll enjoy them! We had so much fun!

(weekend card video will be posted later tonight)

Weekend Video – Best Wishes

February9

I am back with another Weekend card video (well a bit delayed this time! Sorry about that).
The theme is a wedding card just to take part on the Caarvarks challenge.

As a personal challenge I wanted to create a no layer card, no designer paper, no embellishments… nothing!
Just stamps and color. But this is the most difficult thing for me!
So here is my card! Simple I would say (although I couldn’t resist the button, the ribbon and the vellum)

Anyway enjoy the video and scroll down for a list of supplies! Don’t forget to leave a comment, I love reading them :) And if you don’t want to miss another video subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Just for fun

February6

I decided to share with you two very special cards! My little daughter (she is just 4) loves to stamp and making cards. She loves to stick clear stamps on the acrylic blocks and she is really neat! She always clean them and put them back in place :)

She always adds something inside :)

Do you have kids, grandchildren, students who love to make cards?!

Blog about them and share their creations, then come back here and link your post! Me and my readers I am sure would love to get inspired by those little stampers!
