ATC Swap

October22

I have finally finished and send my 10 ATCs for “The Hero Arts Friendship ATC swap”!
It took me hours to decide the final design but here is a sneak peak of what i’ve done…

I don’t want to spoil the surprise so I’ll post mine together with the ATCs I’ll receive from the other girls at the European group. I can’t wait!

Making a booklet

October21

Don’t you just love this instruction video by Kristina Werner on how to make your own sketchbook?
But what happens if you don’t have this stapler or the one you have does not open to use it on top of a pillow?
Well here is a video I’ve made for you! Hope I’ve helped
Excuse my bad lighting, I’ll make sure to fix that for the next recording.

A tall card!

October20

Todays card is a really tall one!
I’ve made it to take part at this week’s challenge at Caardvarks

The sentiment and the rocket are stamped and embossed with white embossing powder. All the other white details are made with the gel pen (LOVE IT!!). I have used a circle punch to make the planets and I distressed their edges a bit. The planets and the rocket are glued with 3d foam adhesive to pop up!

I love Christmas

October16

Here is a card telling you why I love Christmas so much!

Christmas decoration and gifts! What more can you ask?
Making the card was really fun, I just made 3 triangles out of a green paper which I distressed using my scissors and I also used some distress ink by Tim Holtz on the edges. I have glued the triangles the one on top of the other. I used 3d foam glue only on the bottom of the triangles to make them pop.
The gifts are just squares of designer paper wrapped in ribbon. Some faux stitching using my white gel pen and we are ready!

Materials
Love That Sparkle Clear Stamps (Hero Arts)
K and Company – Brenda Walton Collection – Small Wonders Boy
Red & Green Gem Stones (Hero Arts)

If you like it just leave me a comment! Thanks girls!

My new sketchbook and a notebook!

October11

Following Kristina’s idea and instructions here is what I came up with

A fun sketchbook where I keep my ideas, I tend to take it with me in my bag all the time so I can quickly sketch whatever comes to mind and it’s already half full!

They say “an elephant never forgets” so here is my notebook where I write my TO DO list. This one instead of frames to draw it has just lines to write, as simple as that … but always in my bag and very useful.

Love them both! Thanks Kristina!

As I’ve told you a couple of post ago I am in the process of creating a template and make another one based on the same instructions but for another use… I’ll let you know when I am done and share the template as well.

Paper piecing card

October9

Taking part at this weeks challenge on the Hero Arts blog
Here is my entry …

It’s a clean and simple card I’ve made using the CL177 Hello bird and CL320 Designer fruits stamps by Hero Arts.
I have embossed the apples on patterned papers before cutting them out and I also used some faux stitching.
